Welcome to Itselixir. We are a family run business founded in 2004, situated in Cumbria on the edge of the beautiful Lake District. Several of our family members suffer from sensitive skin or allergy issues, so we decided to look for natural remedies. We also wanted to find simple, easy changes we could make to live a more natural lifestyle. In doing so, we came across many products, which are now listed on our website. We are proud to be able to say that all of these products have been tried and tested by us, meaning we only list those we truly believe in.

I ordered three packs of Auburn henna but after receiving the delivery I decided I’d prefer Copper henna instead. I spoke with Sheila at Its Elixir, who said it was no problem and told me to package the henna up and return it for a swap. I returned the henna on the Tuesday and by the Thursday I’d received the replacement order with a handwritten note from Sheila. The customer service at Its Elixir is excellent. I’ve used this company for a few years now and they are always efficient and helpful.

Fantastic!! I ordered 2 boxes of Henna powder Tuesday early afternoon, and it was delivered Wednesday morning!!! I have for the past 2 years used henna from LUSH, but found it wasn't colouring my hair so well now.. Well I hate to have to say this as I am 100% mad on LUSH.. but this colours better! Minus point is that it smells FOUL... Wet dogs meets old ashtray, but at least the smell is contained under a plastic wrap. Also, maybe I added too much water to it, but it run from under the showercap and the cling wrap and dribbled ickily down my neck. Next time I shall make it a tad thicker. But the colour is better than the colour I used to achieve when I used chemical colours.
